It’s so bittersweet that this song is as good as it is, given that it’s their last. Many complex emotions about it. I will not be taking questions at this time.
I’m still warming to More, but this one hit immediately, and I was pleasantly surprised that it’s actually about a slow jam and not just one of those “we never got around to changing the placeholder title”.
Does this get mentioned in the country/rock revival of the 70s? It must, right? I never thought of it alongside either the Eagles or Gram Parsons, but it’s RIGHT THERE, y'all.
It feels like there are a ton of bands like this–garagey, loose, stoned–around these days, but this shines. The last few seconds especially are {insert gif of old style cartoon character with eyes bugging out like “a-WOOO-gah!”}
